Security

Non-biometric solutions are restricted to no better than two-factor authentication. However, SayPay uses triple-factor authentication: Something you have (a registered phone), something you know (the SayPay Code), and something you are (your unique voice). The simplest eight-digit SayPay Code is derived using the base of 10 (108 = 100,000,000) so the chance of generating the same value is ~1:100 million. When using the full alphabetic and numeric option, permutations increase to ~1:2.8 trillion. The “SayPay Code Validator” guarantees each SayPay Code to be qualified and unique.

All non-biometric solutions are restricted to no better than two-factor authentication (2FA), for example, your ATM card and a PIN. However, SayPay uses triple-factor authentication (3FA): Something you have (a registered phone), something you know (the SayPay Code), and something you are (your unique voice). The patent-pending SayPay technology uses a sophisticated, proprietary algorithm that generates a perishable, one-time-use code that when spoken binds the customer’s identity to a transaction or event. SayPay Technologies uses 256-bit transport encryption of the PIN from the device to the Bank server. Supra-encryption of the PIN using PKI or AES is also available as an additional layer of protection. No personal information is ever stored on the consumer’s phone. We exceed PCI-DSS standards and our solutions help banks address FFIEC guidelines.
