SayPay Wins 1776 Challenge Cup in Mumbai – Advances to Regional Finals in Singapore

SayPay was one of three winners at the 1776 Challenge Cup 2016 held in Mumbai on 21st November 2015. The worldwide tournament is for the most promising, world-changing startups to win cash prizes, make international connections and share their vision on a global stage.

The 1776 Challenge Cup Local round in Mumbai received 102 applications, from which the best 20 startups were shortlisted to present a 2-minute pitch of their business, followed by a 1 minute of Q&A from the judges. Other winners included ShereIt and KITKI.

Headstart Network Foundation in partnership with 1776 a global incubator organized the event.

The three winning startups received $10,000 in Google Credits from Google Cloud Platform. The winners have further opportunities to win $175,000 USD in cash and over $1,000,000 USD in potential investment.
