The Nasscom Product Conclave was concluded on Thursday in Bengaluru. The two-day event which saw participation from over 2,000 delegates witnessed 120 product showcases and 175 summits. As part of this conclave, Get-In-The-Ring (GITR) contest was organised under the Nasscom 10K start-up programme.
The contest, a one-on-one pitch battle between startups, saw four teams battling it out. Out of 32 contestants, HyperVerge, SnackExperts, Doctor’s Circle and SayPay Technologies were the four teams that fought out in the semi-finals. SayPay was the finalist in the round lost to Doctor’s Circle.
Shortlisted from a list of 32 startups, these startups presented their game in five rounds that judged experience, achievements, business model, financials and value proposition, followed by a freestyle round. Sitting on the panel, Dave McClure of 500 startups and Ravi Gururaj of Nasscom.
GITR is the Olympics for Startups; a worldwide competition were startups face off against each other in one-on-one pitching battles.
